Robert Daly's path as a professional drummer has taken him from drum corps to Dixieland, computerized dance, top forty, classic rock, country and now Irish music. While traveling in Ireland, Robert met and studied with Edgar Bergan in Kilkenny. Then back in the US he studied with Mance Grady who is regarded as a master Bodhran player who is sanctioned by the National Endowment of the Arts. Robert has written two instructional books for the Bodhran. The first is for beginners with thirty three examples of the most common rhythms the reel and jig. The second book is for advanced players and contains 110 practice examples. Each book comes with a CD.
